What did I smile about in July!

Summer is here to stay! Hope you are all enjoying the hot weather with lots of fun activities and staying hydrated.

Top golf - We love this place but had to show my dad what the fuss was all about before they headed back to Bahrain. The kiddo's loved trying to swing the club but were more interested in waving their legs over the sensor to get the balls out. Aariya decided enough swinging the clubs lets play soccer with the golf balls instead.
Good bye Nanu and Nani - 2 months seem like a long time but they went by so quickly. It was so nice to have my parents here and watch them interact with A&A. We miss them dearly and cant wait for them to visit again.
Zoo - what were we thinking? Going to the zoo in the Dallas summer heat. The kids had a good time and were excited to see the animals but we didn't last a very long time thanks to the heat.
Independence day - Made it to my work building to watch the Las Colinas fire works. The kids stayed awake and were so excited.
Anika's birthday - The girls couldn't stop talking about Anika's birthday and even though they didn't feel a 100% thanks to a stomach bug they insisted on going. They had a blast playing with the birthday girl and experiencing the fun things at the frontiers flight museum.
Urban Slide - Shaili and I signed the husbands and us up for this fun little day out sans kids. We were not sure what to expect but it was a fun short lived rush followed by a nice little lunch at the trinity groves.
Tea party - Aariya and Aashna are all about real play and were so excited about their little tea party. They made sure Papa joined us for the party too.
Austin - We cant seem to stay away from this place. Took a short trip there and thanks to the heat and kiddo's we ended up at the pool both days. It is so much fun to watch these kids play together and we hope they stay tight as the years pass.
Gardenia's - They bloomed! I know it sounds silly but they are so hard to grow as they need the right amount of moisture. So I was so excited to see these flowers. They smell amazing!
Wedding preps begin - So excited to have the Benipal's over to start the To/Yu wedding celebrations. Aariya and Aashna were happy to spend time with Arjun while Kajal and I spent the day with Barbara at the bridal show.
