What did I smile about in October!

Lets kick of the festive season - October is such a fun month with a transition to fall and getting ready for Halloween. We had another busy month with lots of celebrations and soaking in some warm weather before it gets really cold. Hope you all had a safe and fun Halloween with lots of sweets and scares.

Mila and Deven's Birthday party - Thanks for letting us be a part of your second milestone. I managed to get a picture of all four of them together. The western theme called for some western boots that the girls love to show off now.
First family Movie night - Aariya and Aashna enjoyed this first full movie with Saachi at their school movie night. They were excited about sitting on the lawn with popcorn and lollipops - who wouldn't enjoy that!
Pumpkin Village Arboretum - One of my favorite places in Dallas. We love their pumpkin village set up and the girls had fun running around with Chin Chin. We will be going back again I am sure before the pumpkins are gone.
Arijit Singh - To be honest I didn't even know who he was until Amit made me hear a few of his songs, which I love. In true Indian fashion this concert started two hours late due to some testing issues so I was really ticked off but he redeemed himself. His voice is amazing and he really made up for the delay. Too bad we had to leave early but would love to see him again in concert some day.
Navratri - The girls were so excited to go do garba. These three munchkins are such diva's and even though they don't know how to do it, they just enjoyed walking around in circles and people watching.
Barbara's bachelorette party - Fun times with some fun ladies to celebrate Barbara! Some censored photos for you to enjoy ha!
Baby Zara - I had to go hold little Zara even if it was for just 30 minutes. Cant wait to see her again with the twins. Welcome to this crazy world little one.
Fall festival at school - The girls got to dress up twice for Halloween. They were so excited to get their faces painted for the first time ever. They had fun running around the different rooms and collecting candy. Too bad the weather was bad and this event had to be moved indoors - still a lot of fun for the girls.
Pumpkin party - This was our first time carving pumpkins! The girls had so much fun playing with glitter and of course we had to use gold and purple. The boys did good with the carving and we also drilled one this year thanks to idea's from pinterest.
Halloween - And finally the actual day. The girls enjoyed trick or treating so much, who wouldn't with all that candy they got. They actually walked up to the doors and said Happy Halloween! There was some scary stuff that made them cry - so funny!
