What did I smile about in December!

I feel like this year went by quicker than the others. How is it already December? Hope you all enjoyed the festivities and had a chance to spend some quality time with your family and friends.

North Pole express - We took the kids on their first North Pole express and they loved every bit of it. We took our annual Christmas picture there too - the twins were all talk before getting to see Santa but as soon as they got closer the water works started. Another classic crying Santa picture this year.

St Charles - Took a week trip to St Charles for work and it was bitter sweet. I enjoyed the time away but the girls had a little tough time. Amit managed on his own and was very ready to have me back home.
Austin - we took a short one night trip to Austin for Om's first birthday. The girls enjoyed seeing Zara and playing with Zain.
Seema masi's 12 hour stop - We always love seeing Seema masi even if its for a short short time. The girls loved showing her their dancing moves.
Mamu is here - We love spending time with Mamu and the twins kept him on his toes alright. Gave this mumma a nice little break.
Gaylord Texan tradition - We made our annual trip to the Gaylord Texan and of course their favorite part was watching the Trains and eating some ice cream.
Christmas - the twins were so excited about Christmas this year. All the decorating and traditions we are enjoying together. I loved watching their excitement as they opened their gifts.
Horse Carriage ride - the twins saw a horse carriage one day and loved the idea. So for their early birthday present we took a horse carriage ride through Highland Park to see the Christmas lights. They had so much fun and the weather was absolutely amazing.

Birthday - Their birthday celebrations started when Mamu got to Dallas and continued all December long. They enjoyed all the attention and sang for themselves several times. We took them to the Perot again this year but ended up spending some time in the stairwell as a Tornado passed by. They also got to celebrate again in school with their friends.
Good bye 2015 - New years eve was G rated for sure. We took the girls to the trampoline park followed by a nice quiet Pizza dinner and the 4 of us were out even before the ball dropped in NY city! Hope you all had a good 2015 and have a blessed 2016!
