What did I smile about in April!

Spring is in the air and so lets get straight to this! We had another fun month with the kids celebrating lots of friends!

Maya and Ty turn 3! - Thank you for including us in your celebrations. Aariya and Aashna had a blast.
Flower time - the twins have been learning about the earth and nature in school. They recently learnt about plants and were very excited to pot flowers. They love watering them, talking to them and watching them bloom.
Mumford and Sons - finally a fun date night for us during the week. I had not heard a lot of their songs but have some new favorites now. The weather couldn't have been more perfect - thanks Amit for a lovely night out.
Austin times - We stayed with Anar and Anuj this time around. All the kids had a blast together and of course couldn't resist being silly.

Happy Birthday Nivu! - Aariya and Aashna were so excited to celebrate her 2nd birthday. This little one has the cutest curls and calls A&A didi which you can imagine they LOVE.
Our annual hair cut - Their hair is getting so long and i really wanted to cut it short for the summer but the twins refused. They want to have long hair so they can do Elsa braids. The hairdresser made them the cutest braids - too bad mumma doesnt know how to do this. And of course no haircut is complete without sparkly heart tattoos on our cheeks and a lollipop.
Happy first Fayez! - the twins were invited to their friend Talya's brothers birthday and they had the best time. I am so thankful that they have the sweetest little friends in school.
Mummy date night! - The twins and I went out to dinner to their favorite thai place. This was their first time eating with chopstix - a huge accomplishment.
Dallas Arboretum - its finally warm enough to enjoy the park and its water features. We decided to do a little picnic at the park. Aashi and Aari met another set of twins there - cutest little girls. Twins attract twins for sure!
Mavs Game - our friends couldn't use their tickets so Amit and I sneaked another date this time to watch the Mavs in the playoffs. Unfortunately we lost but it was still fun to watch them live. MFFL!
Budding Artists - Aari and Aashi love art and we finally tried some water colors. I love painting and so watching them paint makes me so happy. I hope they continue to express themselves through art.
